Place a small amount of liquid on the damp sponge.
Squeeze and rub gently until foam forms.
For more difficult stains, pour a small amount of liquid into a bowl of water and leave the sponge to soak for a few hours.
Rinse in water and squeeze out the excess.
Let the sponge air dry.
