Solgar Flaxseed Oil is one of Solgar's main sources of alpha-linolenic acid, an essential fatty acid. Alpha-linolenic acid is not produced by our body so it has to be obtained through supplementation and diet. It is an omega-3 acid essential for maintaining normal cardiovascular functioning.
