ESI Magnesio Activ 4+ is a supplement based on 4 sources of magnesium with differentiated absorption: bisglycinate, pidolate, carbonate and citrate.

Magnesium carbonate - is an inorganic compound, used as a nutritional supplement to increase magnesium levels, also acting as a gastric antacid and mild laxative. It is widely used in the regulation of intestinal transit (constipation), relief of heartburn, reflux and in strengthening bones, teeth and muscles.

Magnesium citrate - This is a form normally used for its higher bioavailability compared to oxide. It is also rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract, but can also have a laxative effect. It has an acidic characteristic and should therefore be avoided by people with gastric sensitivity.

Magnesium bisglycinate - This is a type of chelated magnesium, in combination with glycine, which is an amino acid, showing greater bioavailability. It has no laxative effect, as glycine is actively transported through the intestinal wall. Due to its potential as a relaxant, this combination may be more indicated in cases of insomnia, chronic pain and muscle tension.

Magnesium pidolate - this molecule has high absorption and high availability, widely used to treat magnesium deficiencies. It helps relieve fatigue, irritability, cramps and sleep disturbances, being useful in cases of malabsorption, alcoholism or prolonged use of diuretics.
