1. You should not eat, smoke or perform any type of physical exertion immediately before taking the measurement.
2. Sit in a chair with your back supported and relax for 5 minutes. Keep your feet flat on the floor and don't cross your legs.
3. Measurements should always be taken on the same arm (usually the left arm). The doctor should take measurements on both arms at the first appointment to determine which arm to use in the future.
The measurement should be taken on the arm with the highest reading.
4. Remove any clothing that may be tight around your upper arm.
To avoid exerting pressure, the shirt sleeves should not be rolled up, as they will not interfere with the cuff if they are stretched normally.
5. Always ensure you are using the correct size cuff (indicated on the cuff).
· Adjust the cuff securely, but do not overtighten.
· The cuff should be placed 1-2 cm above your elbow.
· The artery mark on the cuff (approximately 3 cm bar) should be placed over the artery located on the inside of the arm.
· Place your arm on a surface so that it is relaxed.
· Make sure the cuff is at the same height as your heart.
6. Press the ON/OFF button 1 to start the measurement.
7. The cuff will automatically begin to inflate.
Relax, do not move or tense your arm muscles until the measurement result is displayed.
Breathe normally and don't talk.
8. When the correct pressure is reached, the cuff stops inflating and the pressure gradually decreases.
If the required pressure has not been reached, the device automatically introduces more air into the cuff.
9. During measurement, the AM pulse indicator will flash on the display.
10. The result of systolic and diastolic pressure as well as AT pulse appear on the display.
11.Remove the cuff after taking the measurement.
12. Turn off the device. The monitor will turn off automatically after about 1 minute.
